The fashion industry has promoted the idea of being slender, toned, and tall to a significant extent over the years. It’s tough for individuals who don’t fit the ‘ideal’ body type to embrace themselves in the face of clichéd images in everything from commercials to movies to runways. The fashion industry, and the concepts it promotes, are, however, being challenged, and in a big way, owing to social media.

Fashion has become a more inclusive profession thanks to plus-size models who have taken over social media and other platforms, and nothing could be better.

We’re going to use this area to look at some of the plus-size models who, through their confidence and flair, have changed the face of fashion.
